What do you do with plastic containers after using them? Do you throw them away or recycle. Stopping over the terminal in Trento, Davao Del Sur, I could not help myself but take a picture of this guy who was sitting in the terminal doing his craft....
The tools of the trade were plastic bottles, straws, a cutter, a lighter and a lot of creativity and imagination.
I would say that this guy is really talented. I forgot to ask his name since the bus was about to pull out already. However, he agreed that I would take pictures of his project.
After a few cuts and heat on a straw, he manage to make a flower out of it and attached it to the plastic bottle that he formed into a tree....

Truly the Filipino has a lot of skills. Perhaps the only thing that we lack is support.
